Weekend cycle continues, more SW
« on: July 05, 2017, 08:18:54 AM »
This must be third weekend in a row with Bermuda high setup.  Looks to start Thursday afternoon and continue through Sat.  All areas should get wind especially Fri.  Front moves closer Sat so more chance of rain but this time of year the Bermuda high tends to hold the front off and if so Sat could be ripping too.  Also looks like major thermal on Friday and possibly Thurs with relatively dry hot conditions, meaning low cloud cover. With sun at near peak heating, thermal should kick.  This is time of year to just go!

I've told my wife "this is the last good session of the season" a few times now.  I'm starting to look like a liar.

Jeff, thanks for the heads up!  Saturday forecast was spot on.   I took a day trip to Salvo and had an amazing time.
